Thinking of taking out a funeral plan?

Here are a few ideas to help you come to a decision.

By taking a funeral plan you are relieving your loved ones of organisational and financial burdens that you would rather not place upon them. You are giving them a ‘final gift’.

By investing funds in a funeral plan you are using the most tax-efficient way of paying for a funeral.

You can take a plan on behalf of someone else, easing the burden during a distressing time.

As independent funeral directors we have the freedom to choose the best plans on the market based on past performance and quality of service. After careful research we decided that Golden Charter Funeral Plans had the same high ideals as ourselves when it came to customer service, and therefore we proudly recommend and use this company.

How does it work?

Put simply, one of our funeral directors will arrange to visit you in your home. We discuss any wishes you might have for your funeral - any favourite music or readings you might have, whether it will be a cremation or a burial and so forth. Based on your wishes we calculate the cost for the funeral at today’s prices. You could pay in one lump sum or over a period of time and this money is invested for you by the Golden Charter Trust Fund.
